O que é · What it is
O Tabs Pro é o app de violão da OakAppWare para iOS e Android. Ele faz duas coisas que todo violonista precisa e que normalmente estão separadas em apps diferentes: afina o instrumento e transforma uma música em cifra e tablatura. O afinador é cromático e funciona em tempo real, mostrando a nota, a frequência em Hz e o desvio em cents enquanto a corda ainda está soando. A geração de cifras parte do microfone ou de um arquivo de áudio do aparelho: o app identifica as notas, reconhece os acordes e escreve a tablatura de seis linhas — e quando o trecho é dedilhado, a transcrição sai nota a nota, com corda e casa.
Tabs Pro is OakAppWare’s guitar app for iOS and Android. It does two things every guitarist needs, which usually live in separate apps: it tunes the instrument and turns a song into chords and tablature. The tuner is chromatic and works in real time, showing the note, the frequency in Hz and the deviation in cents while the string is still ringing. Chord generation starts from the microphone or from an audio file on the device: the app identifies the notes, recognizes the chords and writes six-line tablature — and when a passage is fingerpicked, the transcription comes out note by note, with string and fret.
Somos diretos sobre o estágio do produto. O Tabs Pro está em pré-lançamento e o vocabulário atual cobre acordes maiores, menores e com sétima. Por isso a cifra gerada é tratada como rascunho editável: qualquer acorde é corrigido com um toque, a velocidade de reprodução é ajustável e o som de violão sintetizado deixa você conferir de ouvido antes de salvar.
We are upfront about where the product stands. Tabs Pro is in pre-release, and its current vocabulary covers major, minor and seventh chords. That is why the generated chart is treated as an editable draft: any chord can be fixed with a tap, playback speed is adjustable, and the synthesized guitar sound lets you check by ear before saving.

Privacidade aqui não é uma política escrita depois: é consequência da arquitetura. Toda a análise roda no seu aparelho, do decodificador de arquivo até o reconhecimento dos acordes. Não existe backend, não existe conta de usuário e nenhuma gravação sua é transmitida ou armazenada em nuvem. No Android, o app pede uma única permissão: microfone — nem acesso à internet ele solicita.
Privacy here is not a policy written afterwards: it follows from the architecture. All analysis runs on your device, from the file decoder to chord recognition. There is no backend, no user account, and none of your recordings is transmitted or stored in the cloud. On Android, the app asks for a single permission — the microphone; it does not even request internet access.

Não. Toda a análise acontece no próprio aparelho. Não há servidor, conta de usuário nem coleta de dados, e o app funciona em modo avião.
No. All analysis happens on the device itself. There is no server, no user account and no data collection, and the app works in airplane mode.

Não diretamente — os arquivos desses serviços são protegidos. O que funciona é tocar a música em um alto-falante e deixar o app ouvir pelo microfone, ou escolher um arquivo de áudio que esteja no aparelho.
Not directly — files from those services are protected. What works is playing the song through a speaker and letting the app listen through the microphone, or choosing an audio file stored on the device.
A cifra já sai pronta? Is the chart ready right away?
O app escreve a sequência de acordes e a tablatura em segundos, e você ajusta o que precisar. A detecção acerta melhor em gravações limpas, com o violão perto do microfone.
The app writes the chord sequence and tablature in seconds, and you adjust whatever you need. Detection works best on clean recordings, with the guitar close to the microphone.

O afinador é cromático, então serve para afinações alternativas e para instrumentos de tessitura parecida, como guitarra, cavaquinho e ukulele. Baixo ainda não: as cordas graves ficam abaixo da faixa coberta nesta versão.
The tuner is chromatic, so it works for alternate tunings and for instruments with a similar range, such as electric guitar, cavaquinho and ukulele. Bass not yet: its low strings fall below the range covered in this version.
