This Privacy Policy describes how the Tabs Pro app (store name: Tabs Pro: Afinador e Cifras), developed and published by OakAppWare, handles your information on iOS and Android.

One-sentence summary

Tabs Pro does not collect, does not store on servers and does not share any personal data: all audio processing happens only on your device.

What the app accesses — and why

Microphone. Used for two features, always started by you: tuning the guitar and listening to a song to generate the chord chart. The captured sound is processed in real time inside the device. In the tuner, nothing is recorded to disk. In chord-chart generation, the temporary recording is analyzed on the device itself and automatically deleted when the analysis ends. No audio is transmitted over the internet, sent to OakAppWare or kept on servers. The app does not record in the background: capture only happens with the app open and the screen active.

Audio files. If you prefer to generate the chord chart from a file (MP3, M4A or WAV), the app reads only the file you choose through the system picker, solely for the local analysis. The app does not scan your library or access other files.

Local storage. The chord charts you save are stored as files in the app's private space, only on your device. The usage counter of the free preview is also a local file.

What the app does NOT do

• It does not require an account, sign-up, e-mail or login.
• It does not collect your name, contacts, location, advertising identifiers or any other personal data.
• It does not use usage-analysis services (analytics), ads or tracking SDKs.
• It does not transmit audio or chord charts to the internet.
• It does not sell or share data with third parties — there is no data to sell.

In-app purchases

Tabs Pro is free and offers a preview with a limited number of chord-chart conversions. A future version will offer an unlock through a one-time purchase, processed entirely by Google Play or the App Store. OakAppWare does not receive or store payment data — cards and charges are handled exclusively by the stores, under their own privacy policies.

Sharing started by you

The app has a button to share a chord chart as text. That sending only happens when you tap share and choose the destination (message, e-mail, etc.). The content goes straight from your device to the app you choose, without passing through OakAppWare.

System permissions

The app asks for a single permission: microphone (RECORD_AUDIO on Android; microphone usage description on iOS). Before the system prompt, the app explains the use in its own notice. If you deny it, the tuner and recording become unavailable, but the rest of the app — including generating chord charts from files — keeps working. You can revoke the permission at any time in the device settings.

How to delete your data

All Tabs Pro data lives on your device:

• to delete a chord chart, use the delete button in the app's library;
• to delete everything, uninstall the app — the system removes the app's files along with it.

Since nothing is sent to servers, there is no external copy to delete.

Children

Tabs Pro is not directed at children under 13 and, as described above, does not collect personal data from any user, of any age.

Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD)

Tabs Pro was designed to operate without processing personal data outside your device, meeting by design the principles of necessity and minimization of Law No. 13,709/2018 (LGPD). The rights of access, correction and deletion are exercised directly on the device, as described in the previous section. Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes the way information is handled, this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top, and the change will be highlighted in the version notes.
